If a peaceful, rural setting is more your thing, then you’ll love this cosy little cottage in Trenoweth which allows for the best of both worlds as its still close enough to town to be able to walk in in about 30 minutes, or you can jump on the local bus, as the bus stop is only about 5 minutes away (the bus runs from end of May - mid October - no Sunday service from September) but it’s tucked away in a countryside hamlet, surrounded by flower farms.

Pack up a picnic, pick up your towel and cossie, and take a walk up the road, past the community orchard you’ll firstly come to the rope swing, a favourite spot for many a child, before you drop down onto Bar Point, a lovely white sandy beach, backed by sand dunes and overlooking St Martins, a perfect spot for a beach day.

Enjoy cosy evenings in the sitting room, maybe a games night with the kids, or watching a film you’ve never got round to seeing. If it’s a warmer night, take yourself outside into the lovely garden, pour yourself a drink, grab a few snacks and just unwind in this peaceful haven.
